Senior Full Stack Developer with React and Node.js

We are recruiting a senior Full Stack developer with React and Node.js for a remote role working on a hugely popular German app for the streaming of over 60 live TV channels and a film and TV library.

You will work directly for a German IT outsourcing company with over 20 years of history and on the streaming app of a hugely innovative German tech company, benefiting from the stability and established positive professional culture that entails.

You will also work with cutting edge software development technologies in a booming and exciting tech sector – streaming and work alongside a team of talented software developers and other specialists.

Responsibilities

Working on the client’s new streaming player project to be built on a new tech stack for native platforms and also OTT.
Building capabilities in the core JavaScript engine to extract and enable the client teams with business logic.
Improving the performance of the new player on web platforms and the reduction of any errors.
The module interacts with playout engine, ads engine and tracking abstraction layer.
Improve the overall quality and maintainability of the existing codebase.
Enhancing the Web video player capabilities, playout infrastructure and expertise transfer for other native player teams with abstraction JS layer.

Your profile and experience

Senior full stack engineer with 5+ years experience, including:
ReactJS (3 years +)
NodeJS (2 years+)
TypeScript (3 years+)
AWS (2 years +)
Good level of spoken and written English.

Will be a plus

Experience in the streaming industry.
