We are recruiting a senior QA engineer for a remote role with our client, an exciting U.S.-based blockchain technology fintech.

Our customer aims to develop a decentralized infrastructure through blockchain technology that enables institutional participants to reliably allocate assets on-chain and transfer value in a fully transparent, open-source, composable manner.

Our customer’s founding team has years of experience in stablecoin and crypto governance design as well as traditional securitization services. The company has been backed by some of the largest and most sophisticated investors in technology, including Pantera Capital, Road Capital, AirTree, Standard Crypto, The SALT Fund, ParaFi Capital, Distributed Capital, Kraynos Capital, Mouro Capital and Earlybird.

The role

Map user stories and reported bugs to automated tests
Develop and maintain these tests on a daily basis
Help developers to keep their code and pipelines clean and green
Enabling the developer team to write good and useful maintainable tests for their code in their programming language
Measure code quality metrics and monitor them
Doing code reviews and looking for code smells and possible security vulnerabilities
Have a good sense and understanding of agile processes and workflows

Requirements

3+ years experience in web development and quality assurance
Experience in at least one of these languages PHP / Python / JavaScript /Typescript
Experience writing automated tests for rest-APIs and web-based UIs
Expert knowledge about tools for automation, unit, API and functional testing to enable the dev teams in improving their code quality
Deep knowledge and natural use of tools in the area of containerization, command line and different kinds of programming languages
Strong understanding of web technologies, databases, software architectures and APIs
Familiar with CI/CD technologies
Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes
A problem-solving ‘fullstack’ mindset
A strong desire to learn new technologies in a fast-moving environment
Proficient English
