Business Transformation Analyst
Required Location: Cairo, Egypt
GENERAL
The Business Transformation Analyst is a hands-on member of the Business Transformation Office (BTO), responsible for turning operational challenges into evidence-based, executable transformation initiatives across Knowledge, AI, Data & BI, and Customer Support platforms.
The role works closely with initiative leaders, business process owners, functional leaders, subject-matter experts, GTD, data teams and external partners. It combines end-to-end process analysis, data-led insight, technology use-case discovery and structured business analysis to define what should change and why.
The Business Transformation Analyst follows initiatives from discovery through pilot and adoption: mapping current and future states, establishing performance baselines, shaping requirements and business cases, and helping teams realise measurable improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Discovery & Improvement
– Lead discovery workshops and interviews to understand business needs, pain points, controls, hand-offs and root causes.
– Map end-to-end current-state and future-state processes using BPMN, SIPOC, value-stream or equivalent methods.
– Identify simplification, standardisation, automation and control opportunities and convert them into a prioritised backlog.
– Define process owners, decision rights, KPIs and benefit baselines for the proposed change.
Data & Business Intelligence
– Analyse operational and portfolio data to identify trends, bottlenecks, service issues and improvement opportunities.
– Build and maintain Power BI dashboards using Power Query, data modelling and DAX to support business decisions.
– Partner with data owners and technical teams to define sources of truth, data-quality rules and reporting requirements.
– Translate business questions into practical data, KPI and analytics requirements.
AI, Automation & Digital Tooling
– Discover, assess and prioritise AI and GenAI use cases based on value, feasibility, data readiness, risk and adoption needs.
– Support AI initiatives from requirements and pilot design through governance, implementation and adoption.
– Design or support workflow automation using Power Automate, Power Apps, UiPath, Bizagi or comparable low-code tools.
– Document controls, access, ownership and operating requirements for responsible and sustainable solutions.
Knowledge & Service Platforms
– Support knowledge architecture, lifecycle, ownership, content prioritisation and self-service initiatives.
– Analyse Jira Service Management or other ITSM workflows, service catalogues, SLAs, knowledge and reporting requirements.
– Translate service and platform needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and implementation priorities.
Stakeholder & Initiative Support
– Build trusted relationships across business and technology teams and facilitate decisions in a matrix organisation.
– Prepare concise executive materials, recommendations, business-case inputs and progress updates.
– Coordinate dependencies between initiatives and support pilots, testing, training, adoption and benefits tracking.
Delivery & Governance
– Maintain clear backlogs, requirements, actions, risks, decisions and ownership for assigned initiatives.
– Apply BTO governance standards and ensure evidence, assumptions and trade-offs are transparent.
– Work with project managers and delivery partners to move approved initiatives into executable delivery plans.
– Track outcomes and recommend corrective actions when adoption or benefits are below expectations.
Executive Governance & Conduct
– Represent BTO with a practical, objective and outcome-focused approach.
– Escalate material risks, ownership gaps and cross-functional blockers early.
– Handle business information, data and AI use cases with appropriate confidentiality and governance.

– Practical experience with low-code, workflow automation or RPA tools, such as Power Platform, UiPath, Bizagi or equivalent.
