Project Description & Role

K&C is hiring senior Java developer to help build the backend of a platform being built by a German start-up for the management of non-liquid luxury assets from yachts to holiday homes, cars and watches.

• Scrum, working now mostly independently, can be done part-time on a project level
• Seniority – Must be able to work independently and design own architecture.
• Customer: Germany

Project status

The frontend is implemented, but backend needs to be rebuild to correct wrong architectural decisions. 

You should have:

• Experience in building, integrating and operating highly distributed applications (Microservices, SOA, self-contained-systems)
• Excitement about creating end-to-end solutions for our customers
• Passion for knowledge sharing and willingness to mentor other team members in best practices, code quality and tech frameworks
• An agile mindset and full-stack thinking

Tech Stack Requirements:

You should have a minimimum 2-3 years confirmed experience in the following technologies:

• Java 8 (min)
• Spring Boot
• Spring Security
• PostgreSQL
• AWS Cloud (Cognito, S3, EC2)
• API implementation as a web service
