We are recruiting a senior QA engineer with a focus on test automation and knowledge of C/C++ and Python. 

This is a remote role with a strong but not absolute preference for an EU-based candidate as some travel may be involved. 

Our customer is a startup owned by one of the world’s biggest engineering companies. You will be working on a new generation of eBikes where the data flow and the logical architecture of eBike components is re-designed.

The role

You will be responsible for managing the rising variance in the development process through functioning and stable test automation.

Areas of responsibility

• Maintain automized ITF Tests
• Extend automized ITF Tests
  • Create test concepts
  • Write test specifications
  • Program Test Automation according to coding and testing guidelines
• Run Automized Tests
  • Run Tests
  • Report Software bugs
  • Report DeviceFarm issues

Requirements

• B2/C1 English (spoken and written) or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the programming languages Python and C++
• Very good knowledge of at least one automation tool or framework (e.g. PyTest, Robot Framework)
• Good knowledge of Git versioning systems
• Experience in Bootloader
• Experience in CAN
• Experience in ITF Testing
