We are recruiting a senior embedded C++ developer. 

This is a remote role with a strong but not absolute preference for an EU-based candidate as some travel may be involved. 

Our customer is a startup owned by one of the world’s biggest engineering companies. You will be working on a new generation of eBikes where the data flow and the logical architecture of eBike components is re-designed.

To that end, you may be working on one of several projects starting in parallel.

One of those projects is where a control pad positioned on the handlebars incorporates all connectivity-related functionality to become a gateway for all eBike components.

Another project will develop all the software components incorporated into eBike parts.

The role

• Bug fixing and hunting
• Redesign of existing features or interfaces
• Stability measurements
• Feature development such as:
  • Ambient Light Sensor (integration, interpretation of value, implementation of dimming curve, control parameters, debouncing, testing, application)
  • Activity Tracking feature implementation
  • Graphical User Interface implementation based on TouchGFX
  • Etc.
• The team will pull a ticket from a (Jira) backlog and work independently on that specific ticket.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in the field of embedded software development as well as in-depth programming knowledge in C / C ++ (version 20 and higher)
• Experience in developing software for an embedded system based on STM32
• B2/C1 English (spoken and written) or equivalent
