We are recruiting a senior embedded C developer/architect for a new team working on the software that will power a next-generation line of eBikes. 

This is a remote role with a strong but not absolute preference for an EU-based candidate as some travel to Germany may be involved. 

Our customer is a startup owned by one of the world’s biggest engineering companies. You will be working on a new generation of connected eBikes where the data flow and the logical architecture of eBike components is re-designed.

The role

• Integration of standard Can-communication functionality from extern company Vector into the Bosch eBike framework, adaptation of the corresponding parameters and development of an interface and framework to the Bosch eBike application, Bootloader and component HW
• Update of existing Architecture
• Coding and Code Generation
• Documentation
• Integration
• Review
• Bugfixing including Vector errata list
• Module and Integration Testing

Requirements

• C (senior level)
• Experience in developing software for an embedded system based on ARM-Cortex (e.g STM32, NXP Traveo-II)
• Experience in developing software for an embedded system based on PowerPC (STChorus)
• Testing
