We are recruiting an Android developer with strong experience in Kotlin and coroutines. This is a remote role with our client, a popular German TV and film streaming app owned by the country’s largest media group in a JV with one of the world’s biggest names in digital entertainment.

Project description

You will be working on the Android native app to enhance our client’s interactivity app with loyalty features and a reward system for the users. Furthermore, the engineer will work on search capabilities to find content creators/streams in various ways and will implement event tracking for all the use cases of the app.

The app also needs to be structured/modularised efficiently with a view to making existing parts reusable.

Responsibilities

• Develop features for the existing Android application
• Analysis and fixing of bugs
• Collaborating and exchanging ideas with engineers, product owners and UX/UI designers in an agile environment

Requirements

• Experience in developing native Android applications
• Good knowhow in Kotlin & Coroutines is a must-have
• Having knowledge in Jetpack Compose is a big plus
• B2/C1 English (spoken and written)

Preferred

• Experience with Androidx Navigation Component and GraphQL
• Experience in testing (unit testing, integration testing) and GIT as a versioning tool
• EU resident
