Project Description & Role

Take your career into the stratosphere with a new role building the customer-facing applications of Germany’s largest adventure and experience gifts brand! K&C is looking for a senior frontent developer with React. 

Our customer (a group of 2 companies) are the two leading brands on the adventure market and were united in October 2017. Their group also includes a tour operator, a leisure community, a booking platform provider and one further application.

Your role:

• Designing, implementing and operating customer-facing products to increase the entire online purchase experience.
• Building mobile first, customer facing frontend applications with focus on SEO and performance.
• Improving custom tooling and libraries, used across multiple teams.
• Partner with our software engineers, product owners and UI/UX designers in creating and continuously improving end-to-end solutions.

You should have:

• Experience in building robust and maintainable frontend applications and REST interfaces.
• Excellent software engineering skills and solution driven way of thinking.
• Experience with React or other declarative UI frameworks is a plus.
• Experience in AWS or other cloud environments is a plus.
• Excitement about creating end-to-end solutions for our customers.
• Passion for knowledge sharing and willingness to mentor other team members in best practices, code quality and tech frameworks.
• Agile mindset and full-stack thinking.

You should be an expert in:

• Cross Browser development (mobile first)
• HTML/CSS
• Javascript/Typescript
• React (ReactNative would be a plus)
• RestfulAPIs

You should have significant knowledge of at least three of these technologies:

• UI/UX Designconcepts
• Basic PHP
• Symfony 4
• XML
• AWS knowledge
• NodeJS/NestJS
