We are recruiting a senior back end developer with considerable (circa. 5 years+) experience to take a remote leadership/architect role with our client, one of Germany’s biggest tech-first media groups. 

The projects’s focus the the group’s Customer Identity Management (CIDM) system, used across multiple divisions. 

Responsibilities

• Creation and further development of microservices.
• Participation in an agile software development team (Scrumban, code reviews).

 Your profile and experience

• Sound practical experience in development with Go (3 years+) and Node.js/Express.js (1 year+).
• Familiar with test-driven work (not necessarily TDD, but with a high demand for test coverage).
• Ideally knowledge of MongoDB and Kafka.
• Ideally also knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes (helm chart).
• Good level of spoken and written English.
