Scrum Master

The customer is heavily involved in the construction sector and businesses focused on quality-of-life planning which are at the crossroads of several major challenges: dense and sustainable cities, the urgent need for affordable housing, energy renewal for all buildings and, more generally, of all neighbourhoods. These pressures result in new regulations, increased cost-control measures, different organisation for construction sites, additional training needs for the entire industry and more.

In this context, our customer brings all the necessary tools and services to professionals in these sectors to navigate those changes.

Responsibilities

• The Scrum Master is responsible for the implementation, coaching and ongoing maturity of agile processes.
• Servant leader to the product owner.
• Facilitator of scrum events and scaled agile frameworks.
• Implementer of best practice relating to backlog management, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement programmes.
• Tracking, delivery and quality of sprint goals.
• Responsible for organisation of complex bodies of work and resource capacity for individual IT teams.
• Lead a team of software development & Infrastructure professionals to complete timely end to end delivery.
• Champion Agile processes, ensuring theory, practices and events are understood to maximise value.
• Coach teams towards self-organisation and high performance.
• Play a key role in implementing processes and working closely with multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure seamless, consistent output from sprint teams.
• Ensuring quality is established and maintained into all aspects of the delivery lifecycle.
• Effectively manage projects.
• Organize complex Project Requests and resource.
• Capacity of individual IT teams.

Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, A-CSM or CSP-SM) or equivalent.
• Experience of running multiple globally dispersed teams, with the ability to lead, oversee, motivate and manage people in a Technology environment.
• Experience of running Scrum teams and processes.
• Kanban Experience.
• Certification or relevant experience in Product Ownership & backlog management.
• Understanding of Agile Release tools.
• Team Services.
• Industry Experience of running scaled agile frameworks such as SAFE, NEXUS, LEAN.
• Degree in an IT discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong influencing and communication skills at all levels, including a wide range of stakeholders within the business.
• Ability to translate technical language to non technical colleagues.
• Highly organised, diligent with attention to detail and the ability to maintain these skills whilst working under pressure.
