We are recruiting an experienced product owner based in Krakow, Poland, for a  role with our client, the world’s largest events company. A hybrid role, the successful candidate will be expected to spend at least 2 days a week in our city centre office in Krakow, collaborating in-person with the team. 

You will make a key contribution to the ongoing developing a digital platform that hosts information and e-commerce functionalities serving conferences, festivals, exhibitions, and content marketing. The main goal is to develop a subset of projects around the core platform.


  • You will manage product refinement and support business analysis activities with the rest of the Scrum Team
  • You will be responsible for extrapolating high-level requirements and translating into functional and non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria
  • You will ensure refinement is completed in a timely manner ahead of sprint commencement
  • You will be responsible for building out a 2-4 week refinement lead time over engineering
  • You will ensure BAU and Project refinement are served responsibly and align with the product team’s priorities and expectations
  • You will work with roles and teams outside of your Scrum Team e.g. Product Team, BA, Delivery Manager, Architects etc. to ensure cards are dev ready ahead of sprint commencement
  • You will work with other dependency teams to support refinement where there is a clear need to do so e.g. integration with other platforms
  • You will support the delivery lead in ensuring a two-sprint lead time for engineering is achieved
  • You will work closely with the delivery manager to ensure sprint impediments are mitigated and the sprint goal is achieved
  • You will create and chair the local team sprint showcase
  • You will liaise directly with the product team (stakeholders) to ensure business requirements, vision and scope it understood
  • You will liaise with other internal scrum team POs to ensure alignment, as required
  • You will support the evolution of documentation and support materials for both delivery and business teams


  • You are highly analytical and can extrapolate information quickly
  • You are highly communicative and are not afraid to challenge, diplomatically and proactively
  • You can adapt quickly and effectively to business change
  • You are passionate about product development and have a strong desire to improve products and services
  • You are highly communicative and can liaise with individuals and teams of both a technical and non-technical background


  • Product refinement is 2-4 weeks ahead of engineering
  • All tickets are dev ready ahead of sprint commencement (exceptions apply where applicable)
  • Service delivery SLAs are met (where applicable)
  • Documentation and support materials are maintained
  • Sprint showcases operational
