We are recruiting for a remote role as an implementation specialist with SQL to join the quickly growing team of our client, an exciting SaaS startup in the logistics space. You would join more than 50 other developers and IT specialists building out the platform and products of an international logistics startup and software company founded in 2015.

Our client is focused on the development of intelligent software solutions for the smart purchasing of logistics services, including both freight tenders as well as short-term rate requests for transports in the online marketplace.

Our customer currently has 50+ employees and has BIG plans for growth!  The startup is more than ready to become the world’s best logistics eProcurement platform, making it as easy as buying pizza with your phone.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse customer requirements and provide technical solutions within our IT system landscape
• Ensure an exceptional experience by understanding our customer’s business objectives
• Build and manage project plans to drive the successful delivery of clients into onboarding production
• Configure our logistics procurement software based on customer specific requirement
• Liaise with Project Managers during a customer implementation cycle and provide necessary support to the implementation team
• Provide technical documentation of each implementation and changes
• Define re-usable template solutions for all customer implementations, if applicable, or design new standard functionalities
• Report bugs and follow up on fixes with the product development team
• Stay engaged with product teams to understand the roadmap and implications for customers
• Focus on the big picture and contribute meaningful feedback and suggestion to other teams, for example, Development and Product Management

Your Profile & Requirements

• Advanced SQL Knowledge, preferably work experience with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge with XSL template maintenance
• Work experience with any BI reporting or data modelling tool (Tableau/Datapine/Azure etc.) is an advantage
• Self-starter with personal drive to become an expert in our products
• Strong data analytical mindset
