A great opportunity for a full stack developer with Java to join the K&C international family in a remote role with our client, a 12-year-old SaaS.

Founded in London, our client’s platform provides  Virtual Board Rooms (VBRs) that connect multiple parties in a high security digital environment suitable for financial transactions, confidential deal-closing discussions, document and data sharing. 

This role will make a key contribution to the platform’s further development.

Project details

Our customer’s platform is a Java-based web application running in Apache/Tomcat using Javascript, HTML, CSS, CSS3 (FE) and Java 7, Spring Boot, Grails (BE).

Their databases run in an MS-SQL Server engine deployed in AWS RDS.

Their Infrastructure is AWS for all infra services and hosting; AWS EC2 Windows instances using Apache/Tomcat as web servers for the applications to run the applications

Your Profile & Requirements

• 5-years of experience in web development
• Backend work is estimated at around 80%, therefore you should have experience in Java 7 (or higher), Grails 2.0.4, (experience with API Rest, Spring Boot, Groovy is helpful)
• Frontend work is estimated at around 20%, therefore, you should also have experience in CSS, CSS3, HTML and Javascript
• Experience with the following Database: MS-SQL Server, (first experience with Hibernate, GORM is helpful)
• IDSs: (first experience with NetBeans, IntelliJ,… is helpful)
• CD Integration tools: (first experience with Jenkins, GIT, GitLab and Jira is helpful)
