We are recruiting a DevOps engineer with Azure experience for a remote role with our client, a global market leader in enterprise resource management software for distributors and wholesalers. 

This is a challenging role suitable for a senior DevOps professional motivated to further develop themselves in the Azure and IBM cloud environments. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Design, develop, and deploy Kubernetes applications on the Azure cloud platform
• Troubleshoot and debug Kubernetes applications
• Work with other engineers to ensure that Kubernetes applications are scalable, reliable, and secure
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Kubernetes and Azure technologies

Requirements

• DevOps capability and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of Kubernetes (Openshift ideally)

• Helm and Helm charts

• Linux (RHEL and Ubuntu)

• Identity and Access management (Keycloak ideally)

• Good documentation / KT skills

• Understanding of standardisation

Would be nice to have

• Azure 

• Octopus Deploy 

• iSeries (understanding of libraries / environments etc.)

• Gitlab

• JIRA
