We are recruiting a advanced systems engineer for a remote role with our client, an exciting U.S.-based blockchain technology fintech. 

Our customer aims to develop a decentralized infrastructure through blockchain technology that enables institutional participants to reliably allocate assets on-chain and transfer value in a fully transparent, open-source, composable manner.

Our customer’s founding team has years of experience in stablecoin and crypto governance design as well as traditional securitization services. The company has been backed by some of the largest and most sophisticated investors in technology, including Pantera Capital, Road Capital, AirTree, Standard Crypto, The SALT Fund, ParaFi Capital, Distributed Capital, Kraynos Capital, Mouro Capital and Earlybird.

The role

You will be responsible for managing our internal IT systems, providing support to our employees, and ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Manage the IT onboarding and off boarding of our employees – creating accounts, assigning licenses and setting up hardware
• Provide first and second level support for hardware and software issues
• Report issues and maintain documentation of our current IT Knowledge, processes, and guidelines
• Manage asset inventory and employee devices
• Support the administration of internal and external servers and the office infrastructure
• Maintain, adapt and document software solutions, tools, and scripts
• Work closely with our IT Team, to gather more insights in regards to the latest technologies and best practices

Requirements

• Computer Science degree or relevant professional experience
• Solid expertise in managing and troubleshooting Mac OS X (Windows experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of network hardware and basic understanding of network technologies
• Experience with G-Suite Apps, Jira/Wrike, Confluence/other wiki systems, and video conferencing/collaboration tools
• Experience with Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager is a big plus
• Basic scripting skills at MacOS X (zsh/bash/sh) are a big plus
• Understanding of cloud technologies is a plus
• Proactive problem solver with strong communication skills
• Proficient English skills a must, any other languages are a plus
