We are recruiting a senior Serverless backend engineer to work on a project within the AdTech division of our customer, a well-known German media and technology company. The customer’s AdTech division promotes free and independent media with intelligent advertising technology. Our client empowers their customers by monetizing their users with efficient AdTech products.

The project 

• Our customer’s Metadata Team builds the aggregation systems for all videos that the whole organization publishes on their websites, apps and partner applications.
• They are a Serverless first team that relies primarily on managed services on AWS and writes its code mainly in Python.
• Their core API runs several microservices that interface with the teams around them and orchestrate the workflow and lifecycle of the content.

Requirements

• Experience using Typescript – 3+ years
• Strong knowledge of AWS serverless services – 2+ years
• Experienced in large-scale systems design and possess the ability to troubleshoot distributed systems
• Comfortable working with AWS SAM, CloudFormation – 1+ years
• A strong notion of modern software development methods like TDD, BDD, code reviews, design patterns
• Fluent in English
