We are recruiting a senior QA automation engineer to help develop the new projects of one of Europe’s most succesful sports media. The role is remote, giving you a wonderful opportunity to develop your career with experience at a significant European media that is one of its industry’s true innovators.

Their goal is to provide interesting, up-to-date and reliable information covering a wide range of sports topics. They are always at the location of the event and monitor it for you. It doesn’t matter to them whether it’s a local tournament or a world championship. If your favorite team or athlete is in it, they are there broadcasting for you. 

With our customer, every fan will find something for himself – news, comments, analysis, statistics and interviews with the most interesting personalities from the world of sports – competitors, coaches and fans. Their services include providing packages of sports information, divided thematically and composed of news, commentary, analysis and live scores.

The Projects

Our customer will start the integration of betting feeds on their website themselves as well as integrate betting providers using 3rd party data providers.
Here there will be further need for new features as well as handling large amounts of data.

Furthermore our customer would like to integrate 1 further provider which will help create a wider range of options for their customers.

Responsibilities

• Testing specific flows of data streams and data in the database.
• BDD testing.
• Create own test cases using (writing) BDD in Gherkin
• The focus of testing will be on the automated testing of business-critical functionalities as part of the CI/CD pipeline.

 Your profile and experience

• 3+ Years of experience as a QA
• BDD Testing – 3 years+
• Gherkin – 2 years+
• Cucumber – 2 years+
• REST Assured – 2 years+
• Java – 2 years+
• CI/CD – 2 years+
• Syntax Testing – 2 years+
