K&C is hiring a senior DevOps engineer for a full-time role that can be either remote or based in our Baku office with our team working for an exciting German InsurTech start-up backed by a major public tech group.

Our client’s B2B InsurTech solution focuses on global supply chains and the risks faced by industrial companies. They are a digital disruptor in the industrial insurance market redesigning the future of risk financing.

Responsibilities

• You will take responsibility for important technical and architectural aspects of the infrastructure of a modern insurance platform and continuously develop it further.
• Your focus is on availability, security and scalability (SRE).
• You will also create system documentation and be responsible for feasibility studies and technical reviews.
• You will coordinate all activities within the team but also with other self-organized, agile project teams.

Your profile

• You are there right from the start and use your expertise to guide everything in the right direction.
• You accompany and strengthen the communication within the team, and through your self-motivated way you also manage to challenge your own decisions, creating added value for the team.
• You are enthusiastic about modern, agile product development as well as modern, scalable architectures and applications.
  You have worked with cloud technologies for several years, you feel particularly secure with AWS.
• You have knowledge in Configuration as Code / Automation (Terraform).
• Experience in operating CI/CD tool chains (Git, Jenkins, Nexus etc.).
• Knowledge of IAM and auth-flows (SSO, OIDC, OAuth, Auth0, Incognito etc.).

Requirements

• Relevant experience – 5 years+
• AWS – 3 years+
• Experience in Terraform
• Experience in Git
• Experience in Jenkins
• English – upper intermediate
